Frome Area Building Supplies Ltd is a long established business trading out of Rode for over 20 years. They expanded into a second branch with our acquisition of Trowbridge Building Supplies Ltd in Feb 2021 and more recently expanded into Chippenham with the acquisition of Brunel building supplies in Dec 2021. Expanding their network to give great coverage to their area.
They are one of the few remaining truly independent building material suppliers in the local area.
FABS supply to both the trade and the general public, all are welcome.
Each branch has a small team delivering excellent knowledge and service, no enquiry too large or too small. They have collectively over 130 years experience within the builders merchants industry.

Specializing in constructional and decorative aggregates, alongside our heavy, light, timber, fencing, drainage and plumbing ranges they are now stocking Fidelity 38mm, Quest 30mm and Valour Plus 30mm.

- They operate 8 vehicles. 4 of our vehicles have mounted cranes. 6 vehicles have the facility to tip off aggregates loose from 1 tonne to 6.5 tonnes.
- Covering North East Somerset, Avon, West Wiltshire.
- There is also a franchised 8 Wheeler for the supply of bulk materials from the quarry direct into site. In almost any load size required up to 20 tonnes.
OPENING HOURS
Their opening hours are: Monday to Friday 07.30am to 17.00pm, Saturday 08.00am to 12.00PM.(Except Chippenham Branch which is closed on Saturday’s currently).
PAYMENT
They accept cash and all major credit and debit cards (Not Amex sorry). Cheques will be accepted by prior arrangement but will be required to “cleared” prior to release of any materials.
