Inter-Line (South West) Limited is a family run business which started in 1976 as a dry lining contracting company before turning its’ attention to the construction industry and DIY sector.
From humble beginnings in rented stables used to store dry lining materials, Stan and Beryl Moreing, the co-founders of the business, have worked tirelessly. They have steered the business into a major player in the building supplies sector, growing it from six personnel in the early days to todays’ 82 staff across 5 branches, with a projected turnover in excess of £12m of 2018.
A handful of builders’ vans in the early days have been replaced by 22 commercial vehicles of up to 32 tons, most with crane offload facilities. The stables have gone, and the business now trades from Branches in Brixham, Exeter, Paignton and Totnes, all overseen by the Head Office Branch in Torquay.
Stan and Beryl restructured the management team in 2010 and appointed Darren Moreing (Fleet and Operations Director), Andrew Moreing (Commercial Director), and Neil Robinson (Finance Director) to assist in the ever-increasing rigors of running the family business. Latterly Debi Bullock, has also been appointed, joining her mother, father and brothers on the Board.
