Liverpool and England legend John Barnes joins ArtificialGrass.com VIP Hall of Fame at builders’ merchant event.
England footballing legend John Barnes now joins the ArtificialGrass.com Hall of Fame with his appearance at this year’s NMBS Exhibition this April. Barnes, hailed as “England’s greatest ever left-footed player” greeted a long line of visitors at the show, signing footballs and enjoying footie banter and selfies with attendees.
John took time out with every visitor to share stories, memories and photo opportunities. A focal point for the first second he stepped onto the artificial grass specialist’s stand at the event, John said:
“It’s been a great event and it’s always a pleasure to be greeted with such enthusiasm and kind words from the show’s visitors. Thanks to Liam, Andy, Brian, Tina and Jo from ArtificalGrass.com - we’ve made a great team!”
He joins the Hall of Fame alongside previous VIPs, Chris Waddle, Gordon Strachan, Peter Beardsley, Viv Anderson, Emile Heskey and Gordon Banks.
The 2-day event (10-11 April 2025) saw over 1000 visitors attend as independent merchant members of The National Merchant Buying Society (NMBS) and was a fantastic opportunity for merchants to discuss next season’s offers and product ranges with the ArtificialGrass.com team.
