Top 100 Supplier Influencer: Andy Driver

Andy Driver, Sales and Marketing Director of Evergreens UK Group and ArtificialGrass.com has been nominated in The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) and Builders’ Merchant News (BMN) Top 100 Supplier Influencers. The initiative, sponsored by NMBS OnePlace, is shining a light on those individuals who regularly contribute, challenge, push boundaries and demonstrate unfailing commitment within the supply of building materials and services across the sector.

Andy has been driving and shaping the programme of commercial activities across the Evergreens UK Group since 2005. Working with his Rutland-based team, Andy is at the spearhead of the family-run business who have been pioneers in the artificial grass industry for over 35 years.

Andy said: “It’s been an honour to be an ambassador of ArtificialGrass.com at industry events and to be nominated in such esteemed company is a real bonus. It is very much an all-round contribution from the team though, and a real reflection of the commitment we all demonstrate whenever there are opportunities to collaborate, share and challenge – and a welcome confirmation that we must be doing something right!”

An active contributor to the BMF, industry initiatives and groups supporting and promoting independent builders merchants, Andy has been pivotal in the company’s continued growth. Under his direction, the Group has continually invested in its research, development and market focus on its EverGreener initiative. Evergreens UK has introduced circular and air-purifying artificial grass products and continues to drive the industry forward in reducing carbon emissions, eliminating waste and sitting at the top of the recycling hierarchy: 100% circularity.

John Newcomb, BMF’s Chief Executive heralded the new accolade as “reflecting the positive influence” of each of those nominated within the industry. BMN’s Commercial Manager, Ellen Walton, added “The Top 100 Supplier Influencers highlights the amazing talent and passion that everyone has for this sector.”

The BMF represents more than 870 merchant and supplier companies employing more than 230,000 people in the building materials industry.
